This was the place were Charles Darwin developed the “Theory of the evolution” and that was declared by UNESCO as “World Heritage Site”.

The unique giant tortoises and other animals like: sea lions. iguanas , penguins, blue footed bobbies, sharks, rays and much more live here along with the locals and tourists.

There are several activities for tourist as volunteer work for conservation projects, snorkeling, diving, surfing and others.
