The volunteers will be expected to assist on the activities performed at the hospital according to their experience, including the following.

• Administrate inyections to patients.
• Assist the doctors on minor surgeries.
• Interview patients.
• Participate on medical brigades organized by the Institutions.
• Help Doctors during the mobile or dental clinic visits to the communites.

• 8:00 Breakfast at homestay or student residence.
• 9:00 Work at the children hospital in Quito, assisting medical staff
  The duties will be assigned by a local Doctor.
• 12:30 Lunch.
• 1:30 - 4:30 Follow up morning activities.
  Volunteers will be able to help at different areas during their participation in this program.
  
  Working hours: Monday – Friday / Part time or full time schedules available. Visit to local communities located at one hour and a half approximately from the city 2-3 times a week.
  Please note: itineraries and activities are subject to change, according to the time of the year. Volunteers will receive a detailed schedule during the orientation meeting including the days you will visit the communities and work at the medical center.
