The volunteers will be expected to assist on the activities performed at the hospital according to their experience, including the following.

• Administrate inyections to patients.
• Assist the doctors on minor surgeries.
• Interview patients.
• Deliver medicines to the rooms.
• Participate on medical brigades organized by the Insittuitons.
• Share time with the children: playing with them, and participating on the “Doctor Clown Club”: A way to give the children a fun time while they’re at the hospital.
• For medical volunteers and professionals:  assistance to local doctors on the selected field is available, as well as night shifts in the hospital according to the patients needs.

• 7:30 Breakfast at homestay or student residence.
• 8:00 Work at the children hospital in Quito, assisting medical staff
  The duties will be assigned by a local Doctor.
• 12:30 Lunch.
• 2:00-4:00 Follow up morning activities or participate on the “Fun Room” area. At this place children who are staying at the hospital play with volunteers and share a nice time together: painting, drawing, listening music, etc.
  
  Working hours: Volunteers can work at the hospital part or full time, Monday to Friday.
