Volunteer role

Some of your responsibilities at the schools include the following:

• Take daily attendance in the class.
• Teach English to the children.
• Help children with assignments and homework.
• Organize children for clean up at the end of the day.
• Plan activities in advance, and ensure all materials are ready.
• Participate in school activities, and help children to successfully complete their school projects.
• Some schools offer daycare service for single mothers (kids six months to four-years old); your help will much be appreciated.

Daily schedule:
7:30 Breakfast at guesthouse.
8:30 Work at the school on duties assigned by the local teachers.
10:30 Recess.
11:00 Continue with activities in the class.
12:00 Lunch
1:30 During afternoons some schools organize tutoring for the children. This activity will be optional for volunteers.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 – 2:00 pm,approximately).
