Program Overview

Volunteering at Juconi participants will have the opportunity to work directly with children with extremely underprivileged conditions who, due to these circumstances, are street involved or at the risk.

Individual participants volunteering for six months will become part of Juconi’s staff and use a combination of education and therapy to provide kids with skills and tools they need to get off the streets and back to school.

Groups will have the opportunity to coordinate and participate in Juconi’s specifically short-term activities like Camps, Students Fairs, and Olympic Games.

Location: Guayaquil; offices are located in the north of the city and the fields where they work all around the south.
Accomodation: Volunteers will stay with families and groups will stay in a hotel downtown.
Dates: Individuals volunteers are accepted all year round, groups only on February, August, September and December.
Requirements: 21 years old. Basic spanish. Experience working with children (CV).
