What is the climate like in Ecuador?
The highlands have a temperature of 13-25 degrees, the coast 23-36, the Amazon 23-32 and Galapagos from 22 to 36 centigrade depending on the time of the year. The coast is also much hotter than Quito, and the highlands area.

What type of clothing should I bring?
Make sure you bring a jacket and some warm clothing along with light clothing because it can get during the daytime in Quito, and then become very cold at night, so bring layers! Also, if you plan to go to the Galapagos or the coast bring beach wear! And waterproof stuff for the jungle!

Where can I leave my passport / important documents?
If you are staying in Quito, you can take a copy of your passport and leave the original at the office in an envelope with your name, also your airline ticket.
