To get around Quito you can take the bus or the Ecovia, or the Trole, which all cost 25 cents each. You can also take taxis which are inexpensive. They usually cost around 2 dollars, sometimes more at night.

How can I travel around to other locations in Ecuador?
The easiest and cheapest thing to do is to take the bus. For example to go to Baños, you can take a bus for about $4, which takes about 3 hours, or to Mindo for about $2, which takes an hour and half. You can also take the bus to the beach, which, depending on where you go can take between 5 to 10 hours, and costs $6 to $10. You can also take the a plain to certain places around Ecuador but it is more expensive. For example a flight to Guayaquil can cost between $60-100.
